Public Meeting with CT DEEP and Aquarion Water Company
About
Aquarion Water Company has requested to double the amount of water being transferred from the Greater Bridgeport System to the Southwest Fairfield County Region. The primary source of supply would be the Hemlocks Reservoir System, including the Hemlocks Reservoir which drains to Cricker Brook, the Mill River, and Southport Harbor in Fairfield.
DEEP will hold a virtual public meeting on August 26th at 3:00 pm to discuss the application and its impact on the local community.
