Past Events
What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead.
Annual Meeting
Norwalk Art Space
Across Connecticut, leaders from municipalities, utilities, schools, law enforcement, community organizations, and sustainability groups are coming together to help build a cleaner, healthier, and more resilient future.
This Annual Meeting reflected the power of collaboration and the progress Connecticut continues to make in energy efficiency, clean transportation, community sustainability, equity, and environmental leadership. By bringing together local governments, policy experts, educators, nonprofits, businesses, and community advocates, we are creating practical solutions that strengthen communities and expand access to a more sustainable future for everyone.
Live Green Connecticut is proud to work alongside partners across the state who are helping turn ideas into action and advancing meaningful progress through innovation, partnership, and community-driven leadership.
Live Green Connecticut Festival (2010–2015)
A Community Legacy of Sustainability in Norwalk, CT
From 2010 through 2015, the Live Green Connecticut Festival stood as one of the region’s premier environmental and sustainability events—bringing together families, businesses, nonprofits, and thought leaders at Calf Pasture Beach / Taylor Farm Park in Norwalk, Connecticut.
Founded by Daphne Dixon and Scot B. Weicker, the festival was built around a simple but powerful idea:
“Where green meets mainstream.”
Over its six-year run, the festival evolved from a local initiative into a statewide sustainability showcase, drawing thousands of attendees and hundreds of exhibitors annually.
